Hull hailing PIAS signings LIFE have just revealed details of their forthcoming new album A Picture of Good Health. Arriving alongside the announcement is the LP's barbed second single 'Hollow Thing', the follow up to April's abrasive yet upbeat offering 'Moral Fibre', which coined an entirely new word in 'pissants'. Channelling a comparatively more sombre vibe, 'Hollow Thing' is a wiry outpouring of internalised frustrations as front person Mez Green explains, “‘Hollow Thing’ is about tackling isolation and fixing yourself...It’s about letting go of something in your life, something that’s passed. (It's also about) moving on and overcoming hurt, taking the hits but getting through it.” A Picture of Good Health will be released on the 20th of September. -Holly Mullineaux
